Job Overview: The Global Social Enterprise Specialist will collaborate closely with our Impact Investments team to facilitate investment due diligence, financial analysis, and performance monitoring of social enterprises worldwide. This early-career opportunity involves business evaluation and diligence, new investee onboarding, monitoring, and supporting our extensive network of social enterprise lending partners and investees. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and mission-driven, bringing a flexible and collaborative mindset, strong sense of ownership, and positive attitude. Key Responsibilities Include: - Conducting due diligence for new prospective investments and writing up credit memos. - Monitoring performance metrics of assigned Partners and Investees. - Inputting Partner and Investee financials into standardized templates and following up on any issues. - Ensuring Partners' compliance with general policies. - Supporting Investment Managers in preparing for onsite visits. - Participating in update calls with Partners and Investees. - Managing onboarding and training of new Partners and Investees to Kiva systems. - Updating documentation related to Partners and Investees in Kiva's various systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Minimum of 2+ years of experience in investment management, commercial lending, financial analysis, or a related field involving credit risk evaluation and business assessment. - Proven financial statements analysis skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Flexibility to maintain a dynamic schedule with availability aligned with multiple time zones. - Able to travel occasionally and adapt to various international work environments. - Strong communication and relationship management skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite office software and technology platforms. - Spanish or French language proficiency is beneficial.
