The prime objective of the Field Sales Team is to increase sales for our Client's hotels globally, through influencing and motivating targeted travel bookers across leisure & luxury agencies and key wholesalers to promote the Client's portfolio of brands as the preferred hotel chain to their own clients. The role will comprise business development across approximately 5 wholesalers across Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Ecuador, and 30 - 40 luxury travel agencies supporting non-luxury brands across Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Key Responsibility Areas Manage Agency Relationships : Regularly engage with specified agencies within a designated territory to drive room night and market share growth for the resort and all-inclusive segment. Build Wholesale Partnerships : Develop and maintain relationships with key wholesale partner BDMs through joint sales calls, trainings, webinars, and territory events. Optimize Interactions : Analyze agency and wholesale account metrics to effectively manage call files and interaction frequency, maximizing ROI from each wholesaler and agency. Engage Front-Line Advisors : Maintain regular contact and build business relationships with front-line advisors via sales calls (both face-to-face and virtual), webinars, and in-person visits to promote Hilton resorts and all-inclusive properties. Deliver Sales Materials : Present relevant sales materials in all interactions to boost sales for Hilton resorts and all-inclusive properties. Prioritize Agencies : Categorize and prioritize agencies based on market indicators, market share, room night data, collaboration with wholesale sales partners, industry awards, and other relevant metrics. Formulate Sales Strategies : Develop sales strategies for each agency using relevant data and reports to plan and structure call content. Customize Presentations : Tailor content and presentations for agency activities based on relevant data, ensuring key messages and information are effectively conveyed. Review Data with Agencies : Regularly review data with agency contacts to understand business trends and explore new opportunities. Organize Events : Collaborate with Hilton personnel to organize and implement events across the territory. Maximize Advisor Engagement : Aim to present to and interact with the maximum number of selling advisors during each sales call and activity. Attend Meetings : Participate positively and professionally in all meetings and conference calls. Update Salesforce : Maintain and update all activities in Salesforce. Build Internal Relationships : Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant Hilton personnel. Flexibility : Be willing to work additional hours and perform other ad-hoc duties as required by your manager. Host Engagement Events : Attend and host in-person travel advisor engagement events across leisure, all-inclusive, wholesale, and resort segments. Administrative Responsibilities Manage Calendar : Ensure your Outlook calendar is accurate and regularly updated. Utilize Tools : Be proficient in Salesforce and MicroStrategy to record, track, and measure performance against objectives. Manage Expenses : Submit expense forms weekly. Analytical & Commercial Responsibilities Evaluate Performance : Assess individual performance through market share and revenue reports. Skills and Competencies 3-5 years of related experience in the hospitality or travel industry in sales roles. Experience with Travel Agencies and Wholesalers required. Event planning experience is a plus Professional appearance and manner Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally, and in writing Competent at developing business relationships at all levels – F2F, email, video conferencing and telephone Good presentation skills Strong selling skills Effective analytical skills Strong administration and organizational skills Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams, WebEx, and Zoom Experience in Salesforce a plus Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to undertake additional hours and perform other ad-hoc duties as deemed reasonable by your Manager.
