Business Development Manager Hydro+Met Latam North This is a unique opportunity to leverage your sales expertise and business acumen in the hydrology and meteorology sectors. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Your success will depend on your ability to understand customer needs, develop effective solutions, and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: - Achieving sales targets through effective forecasting, funnel management, and share-of-wallet expansion in key accounts; - Driving business development by building and maintaining strong customer and channel relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities; - Account strategy and customer engagement by regularly assessing and growing channel partners and target accounts, conducting meetings with key decision-makers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities; - Project and opportunity management by planning and managing next steps to close sales opportunities and projects efficiently, aligning with customer needs and timelines; - Cross-functional collaboration by acting as the main point of contact for customers and working with internal teams (Legal, Finance, R&D;, Service, etc.) to support contract execution, product customization, and customer satisfaction; - Market and competitor insight by monitoring market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive advantage; - Sales activities and representation by participating in site visits, product demos, trade shows, and seminars to promote the brand and support sales execution. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need: - A bachelor's degree required; engineering degree preferred; - Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably with government clients; - At least 3 years managing channel partners and key accounts in hydrology or meteorology applications; - Fluent in written and spoken English; - Willingness and ability to travel within the LATAM region as needed.
