Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Finance and Operations to join our team at GLT Logistics. As a member of our senior leadership, you will be responsible for overseeing financial processes, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic decision-making. About Us GLT Logistics is a Third Party Logistics Company founded in Miami, Florida in 2002. Our mission is to develop innovative logistics and transportation solutions that simplify the inland freight shipping process, reduce costs, enhance carrier service, and improve auditing practices. Key Responsibilities - Oversee accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and audit processes, manage budgets, and make necessary adjustments to maintain financial health. - Analyze and forecast cash flow, liquidity, and manage debt and investments to ensure long-term financial stability. - Develop and execute strategies that streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency. - Negotiate favorable terms with banking institutions and optimize foreign exchange transactions to improve profitability. - Effectively allocate financial resources to maximize organizational performance and profitability. - Analyze financial statements and key metrics to support informed strategic decision-making. Requirements - A High School Diploma is required. - Studies in Business Administration, International Business, Economics, Finance, or related fields. - At least 7 years of experience in financial processes, and leading teams. - Strong proficiency in English (B2+ or higher) is essential for effective communication. Work Arrangements We offer a fully remote work arrangement, with a full-time contract. The working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.
