Location: Remote (Preferred time zone: U.S. Eastern or Central) Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Mid to Senior Level Compensation: Competitive salary and equity options About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our growing team at Trez. Key Responsibilities: Frontend Development: Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React.js. Collaborate with the design team to implement and improve UI/UX components. Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness. Backend Development: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express. Design, implement, and manage RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. Manage database operations with PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and security. Work on data synchronization tasks with third-party services like Salsa and HubSpot. DevOps and Deployment: Collaborate with the DevOps team to manage AWS services, including Elastic Beanstalk and CodePipeline. Ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines, automating testing and deployment processes. System Architecture: Contribute to the design and implementation of a scalable microservices architecture. Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document codebase, system architecture, and API integrations. Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers as needed. Qualifications: Technical Skills: 3+ years of experience in full-stack development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with experience in Node.js and React.js. Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful/GraphQL APIs. Experience with AWS services, particularly Elastic Beanstalk, CodePipeline, and RDS. Understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and infrastructure as code. Professional Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fintech, payroll, or similar industries. Previous experience working in a startup or rapidly scaling company.
