Scope of the Role You will shape and refine our visual identity across every customer touchpoint—packaging, photography, paid and organic social, email, web, marketplace, and direct mail. Partnering closely with Digital, Retention, Social, and Product teams, you’ll audit current creative, craft a forward-looking roadmap, build a comprehensive style guide, and institute design systems that set our brand up for long-term success. This is both a hands-on and leadership role in a fast-growing DTC environment. Duties and responsibilities Creative Leadership & Execution Inspire and mentor designers and other creative contributors; coordinate agencies and contractors. Conceptualize, design, and oversee production of high-impact assets (email, social, web, packaging, etc.). Partner with Growth and Social teams to deliver high-performing paid and organic content. Photography Ownership Direct product-, lifestyle-, and studio/model shoots with external photographers. Establish and maintain a cohesive photographic aesthetic aligned with brand guidelines. Design Systems & Processes Implement streamlined workflows for asset creation, feedback, approvals, and delivery. Set up collaborative tools (e.g., Figma, shared libraries) and maintain a well-organized asset hub. Continuously refine processes to boost speed, quality, and consistency. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Retention (Email), Growth (Paid Social), Social (Organic Content), and Product (Packaging) teams to meet creative needs on schedule. Perform final quality checks on all customer-facing assets before launch. Continuous Improvement Maintain a “never good enough” mindset—seeking inspiration, analyzing performance data, and evolving creative for greater impact. Requirements Requirements Early-Career Creative Leader with several years of hands-on design experience and a drive to grow into a senior creative role. Technical Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, and video-editing tools (e.g., Final Cut); strong focus on digital. Brand-Building Mindset and proven success in DTC consumer products. Photography & Production Savvy —comfortable directing shoots and managing post-production workflows. Collaborative & Autonomous —able to self-manage projects while thriving on cross-functional input. Creative Drive —up-to-date on design trends, always experimenting and innovating. Agile & Flexible —thrives in a fast-moving environment and pivots quickly based on data or opportunity. Strong Communication Skills —adept at presenting concepts, incorporating feedback, and articulating rationale to creative and non-creative stakeholders alike.
