The Role The Associate of Production Finance for International Originals in Colombia will be part of our Local Language Originals Production Finance team at the Netflix Bogotá office. This role will support Production Finance Managers and cross-functional teams protecting company financial exposure through production oversight and control. Responsibilities: - Production Finance Associate is a strategic partner working closely and collaboratively with Netflix teams including our cross functional teams: Content, Production, Legal, Tax, Content Accounting, and FP&A.; - Effectively manages relationships, and informs & influences internal and external partners. - Ensure accurate, timely and complete Budget, Cost Report and Breakage review, analysis and reporting - Manages cash flow and funding processes - Keep updating production finance information in Netflix Systems. - Robust experience with local market taxes , IVA/ VAT taxes, Unions, Incentives among others. - Provide training, guidance and leadership to the team. Ensure implementation of best practices, financial controls and cash management - Create and present insightful presentations that summarize analysis to influence decision-making - Compile thoughtful post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement - Understand production landscape (Workflows, reporting, etc.) that allows them to partner and guide external partners (e.g. Financial Controller, Lead Accountant) - Focused on innovation to help develop and test the next generation of production finance tools that enable better economies of scale - Expected to be a trusted resource for information and a strategic business partner within content team Requirements: - 3+ years of production finance and/or production accounting experience with significant exposure in Colombia - Knowledge of US-based production finance setups and US-based accounting systems. Cast & Crew PSL or EP Global Vista a plus - Fluency in English and Spanish language - Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment - Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity with a focus on generating results - Solid understanding of the territory payroll process, tax and government compliance requirements - Budgeting and production accounting software experience required.
