Promote innovative sustainable materials by generating new projects in partnership with internal teams and executing top-down initiatives such as recycled PU projects. Take ownership of business performance indicators for key accounts in Vietnam, ensuring targets are met through strategic relationship building and opportunity exploration. Oversee relationships with key footwear manufacturing customers, devising tailored engagement plans to unlock new business avenues within the value chain. Work collaboratively with regional account managers across Asia to drive PU business growth and contribute to broader operational objectives. Provide actionable market insights to help steer the innovation pipeline, ensuring that product development aligns with current market needs and customer expectations. Initiate and manage innovation projects designed to secure long-term growth, including creating robust business cases and prioritising initiatives based on impact. Increase transplant business activities in Cambodia by identifying new customers and pursuing fresh project opportunities through regular site visits. Undertake additional tasks or special projects as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to overall team success. What you bring: To excel as a Key Account Manager – Performance Materials, you will bring a wealth of experience from the footwear sector—particularly within sales, marketing or product development roles that have given you insight into every stage of the value chain. Your academic background will provide a solid foundation for understanding complex material science concepts while your practical experience enables you to navigate the intricacies of T1/T2 manufacturing environments. You will be adept at working collaboratively across regions, drawing on your interpersonal skills to build trust-based relationships both internally and externally. Your technical expertise in polyurethanes will allow you to confidently promote innovative solutions tailored to customer needs. Proficiency in English plus either Korean or Chinese ensures seamless communication across diverse teams. Familiarity with digital tools like Salesforce.com streamlines your approach to account management. Demonstrated knowledge of the footwear value chain with a focus on material development or T1/T2 manufacturing processes is required. Proven experience working effectively within cross-regional teams is important for fostering collaboration across multiple markets. Strong background in polyurethanes is necessary to support technical discussions and project delivery. Key account management skills are preferred for building lasting client partnerships and driving business outcomes. Excellent communication abilities in English combined with proficiency in either Korean or Chinese are needed for effective stakeholder engagement. High proficiency using Salesforce.com alongside Microsoft Office tools is expected for efficient workflow management.
