About The Role The Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery of large to medium-scale projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, meet quality standards, and stay within budget. Responsibilities include managing project deliverables, resource utilization, planning, monitoring, risk management, and avoiding duplication of work. What you need Bachelor Degree or equivalent Experience in the finance industry (banking, insurance, financial services or related) Proven track record in implementing transformational initiatives Expertise in Agile methodology Strong English skills; conversational Spanish and Portuguese are a plus Experience with captive financing is advantageous Understanding of business and corporate objectives, with the ability to work under broad project guidance Leadership skills in promoting teamwork, delegating, resolving conflicts, and goal setting Effective communication skills across all levels Time management and prioritization skills Risk prediction and mitigation capabilities Basic accounting knowledge to manage budgets Hands-on approach and adaptability Proficiency in PC tools like Planview Workfront, Excel, Word, PowerPoint What you will be doing Drive project management excellence including accountability, conflict resolution, communication, time, budget, quality, stakeholder, resource, scope, and supplier management Track progress and report on milestones and deliverables Ensure project plans meet PMO standards Manage program critical path changes Communicate effectively with stakeholders Identify and manage resource bottlenecks and contingencies Establish issue and risk management standards Maintain quality assurance standards Manage change processes Align projects with business needs and identify gaps What we offer At GM Financial, we support your authentic self and promote work-life balance through wellness and community activities, along with competitive salaries and benefits.
