The Engineering Manager also participates on a limited basis in engineering wide improvement activities related to processes, innovation, and ways of working.The impact of this role is that a team is regularly delivering new high quality services in a timely manner, and that any previously delivered or existing service is monitored and maintained. In addition, the team members are fully informed about information relevant to them and given clear expectations, clear justifications, and receive follow up on the impact of their services.The Engineering Manager provides guidance to direct reports on how to manage their work, while also monitoring and addressing any people management concerns for direct reports, including low performers, high performers, personal development, engagement and job satisfaction, morale and culture, formal performance reviews and any others.
