We’re looking for a Charge Scrubber to join our growing billing team—someone who’s detail-oriented, experienced, and driven by a sense of purpose. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of EPIC and healthcare billing processes, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and ensuring clean, accurate claims. Coding experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Review and scrub charge data in EPIC to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer guidelines. Identify and correct errors in billing codes, charges, and patient information. Collaborate with the coding team to promote proper coding practices and improve claim accuracy. Communicate with providers to obtain missing or corrected documentation. Ensure timely and accurate claim submission to minimize delays in reimbursement. Follow up on denied or rejected claims, identify root causes, and take corrective action. Stay current on payer-specific requirements, regulations, and best practices. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience working with EPIC (required). Medical coding experience is a plus; CPC, CCS, or similar certifications are preferred. Solid understanding of healthcare billing processes , including CPT/ICD codes and payer policies . Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills .
