Reports To Fragrance Developer Manager Job Purpose An exciting new opportunity has become available to join the Colombia Development Team. Reporting to the Colombia Fragrance Developer Manager, the successful candidate will have the responsibility of developing winning fragrances for the assigned categories and markets. They will work closely with Account Managers and Marketing Team to develop olfactive strategies and drive sales, and also proactively develop strategic fragrance collections for key customers based on their needs. Using their expertise, they will analyse leading products and market data to translate into exciting collections that generate sales. Tasks and Responsibilities Management of potential clients and key markets. Guide perfumers in developing winning fragrances. Understanding of the olfactory strategies of the main brands on the market in the Latin American regions and their categories. Analyse the portfolio of key clients and perform gap analysis to grow sales. Identify the fragrances with the best performance for the categories we work on and make them known to the sales team. Work closely with other testers, perfumers, marketing and sales team. Support assigned markets by identifying trends, gaps and business opportunities. Support the Development Manager in the training of junior evaluators. Attend creative sessions and translate them into collections for key clients. Understand the regulatory requirements of regulations and their implications in fragrance development The other annexed and/or complementary functions that are assigned by the nature of the position and in compliance with the employment contract. Qualifications Skills and Attributes Required Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fragrance Development role Olfactive knowledge & perfumery language Professional in Chemical Engineering or related field Skills Excellent communication & presentation skills (Spoken & Written English) Well-developed ability in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Market knowledge of the assigned category(ies) Knowledge of regulatory requirements Business acumen to apply good judgement when making decisions Excellent time management ability to work to strict project deadlines and daily priorities Collaboration skills for building sound partnerships within a team environment Problem solving Decision making Strategic thinking Project management Attributes Must display and demonstrate attitudes in line with the Company Values All qualified applicants will be considered for employment irrespective of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, sex, gender identity or disability status.
