What to expect in this role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our CI/CD pipeline, automating infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our Kubernetes clusters in a multi-DC environment. Your expertise in AWS, scripting, and troubleshooting will be instrumental in achieving our goals. Designing and managing Azure infrastructure using services like Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Key Vault, AKS, Azure Cache, App Gateway, Load Balancer, DNS, and Blob Storage. Implementing and maintaining IaC using Terraform to automate and manage infrastructure deployments. Managing and securing containerized applications in Kubernetes (AKS), applying best practices with Istio, Pod Security Policies, and Network Policies. Ensuring observability through Datadog, setting up alerting, dashboards, and monitoring pipelines. Deploying and managing CI/CD workflows using ArgoCD, and optionally GitHub Actions, to enable automated, auditable deployment strategies. Administering Azure App Configuration and Key Vault to securely manage secrets and configuration data across environments. Collaborating with security and compliance teams to implement and enforce RBAC and network-level policies, including WAF protections and secure ingress strategies. Supporting platform scalability and availability with experience in Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, API Gateway patterns, and Azure Functions. Tools & Tech you will work with Terraform, YAML, PowerShell, and scripting languages ArgoCD, GitHub, GitHub Actions (preferred) Datadog for observability and alerting CI/CD, IaC, Pod Security, Network Security, RBAC What Success looks like Streamlined, secure, and automated deployments across multiple environments. Well-monitored and observable infrastructure, with proactive alerting and minimal downtime. Scalable and modular infrastructure setup using Terraform and AKS. Smooth collaboration with development and DevOps teams to maintain a high level of system reliability and performance. Develop strategies for scaling infrastructure and applications to accommodate growing demands. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with development and NOC teams.
