Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting for a **GS Finance ATR Team Lead **for the General Accounting process, based in Bogotá, Colombia. The Global Services Finance organization provides outstanding, efficient financial services and compliance—in a J&J; way—to our Operating Companies around the world. Our solid understanding of our customers’ financial processes, understanding of their requirements, controls, and business drivers, and a continuous-improvement attitude allow us to deliver consistently high-quality operational results worldwide. **Job Profile Summary**: Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the General Accounting department. Accountable for coordinating, maintaining, and advising all general accounting activities and functions. At this level the role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc. **- Supervises the day-to-day operations of the department including work allocation, scheduling, establishment of timelines and other related activities. - Performs supervisory duties including hiring, performance evaluation, disciplinary actions, etc. - Ensures accuracy of cash, business plan forecasting and budget development. - Monitors the preparation and distribution of timely and accurate operating/financial statements to both internal management and external users. - Compiles data for managerial reports as required, including product line profitability, price realization, and analysis of allowances. - Monitors and facilitates month-end and yearend close activities. - Supports the analysis and interpretation of results, along with the preparation of financial and operating reports to provide a basis for management planning and operating controls. - Suggests changes in and additions to accounting practices and procedures. Implements such changes where applicable. - Assists with the development of short and long-range plans to meet the personnel, supply, and equipment needs of the office. **Qualifications**: **Education**: - A minimum of 2 years of related business experience - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Business, or Finance. - Advanced degree or professional certifications such as MBA/Master’s, CMA, CPA, etc. is a nice to have. **Experience and Skills**: - Minimum 6-8 years of finance, accounting, finance compliance or related business experience is required. - Prior supervisory experience with passion for people management/talent development is required. - Expertise on accounting, audit, finance compliance process/cycles knowledge - Strong business partnering, communication, and interpersonal skills - Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel / Power Point - Intermediate level of written and oral English - Strong collaboration, problem-solving skills, dealing with ambiguity, process-oriented mindset is required.
