Your mission The Data Centre Team Lead is responsible for overseeing all data centre activities and ensuring alignment with company objectives, policies, and quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining operational excellence, managing cross-functional relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the data centre operations. The individual in this position will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage sensitive customer and supplier data in accordance with security policies. What you'll do Operational Leadership : Develop and enforce high operational standards for quality, reliability, and safety in all data centre functions. Cross-functional Collaboration : Manage inter-departmental relationships to ensure smooth operations and cross-functional support for Data Centre activities. External Liaison : Act as the senior liaison for external stakeholders, including third-party vendors and procurement partners. Service Level Management : Implement and maintain business procedures and KPIs to ensure services meet or exceed company standards. Reporting & Documentation : Produce necessary management reports and updates to the Data Centre Technical Operations Manager and other functional leaders. Budget & Procurement : Oversee budgeting and procurement activities, ensuring alignment with company policies and guidelines. Customer Engagement : Ensure the facility is consistently prepared for customer visits, reflecting the company’s commitment to professionalism and operational excellence. Site Management : Oversee site security and maintenance to ensure a safe and reliable environment for operations. Quality Improvement : Lead initiatives to improve operational processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Team Leadership : Supervise and manage the performance of the Data Centre Engineers, ensuring that team members are well-trained, motivated, and aligned with company goals. What you'll bring Leadership & People Management : Proven experience leading teams in a data centre environment, fostering collaboration and ensuring high performance. Customer Focus : Strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of both internal and external customers. Problem Solving & Decision Making : Ability to identify issues, assess risks, and make informed decisions that drive operational success. Technical Expertise : A strong technical background in networking, ISP, server systems, and operating systems. Experience : 3-5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a relevant technical or managerial role, including experience in managing 24x7x365 operations departments. Teamwork : Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve shared objectives. Language Proficiency : Full professional fluency in both Spanish and English is strictly required. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in both languages, including in written reports, team management, and high-stakes meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
