Role Overview Charly Agency is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee the company’s daily operations, ensuring the successful execution of web design and development projects. This role is pivotal in driving growth, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards across all deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital agency operations, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of web development and design processes. This is a remote contractor position. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Growth: Develop and execute operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability. Oversee the agency’s project pipeline, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement, scalability, and service expansion. Work closely with the founders to define long-term goals and revenue strategies. Project & Team Management: Oversee and support project managers, designers, developers, and other team members. Ensure all web design and development projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks and oversee client satisfaction metrics. Lead and implement workflows that improve project execution and team collaboration. Actively participate in project planning, scoping, and execution. Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring clear and effective communication. Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Participate in sales calls and client onboarding, providing support to close deals. Translate technical or design concepts into terms easily understood by clients and non-technical stakeholders. Support in crafting proposals and responding to client inquiries. Hands-On Contribution: Support various operational tasks, such as reviewing copy, compiling reports, or assisting in business development. Support recruiting and interview people to help grow the team. Create a positive atmosphere to work. Stay up to date with industry trends and implement best practices in digital agency operations. Provide occasional hands-on support in areas such as content writing, UX feedback, and client presentations. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a digital agency, preferably with a focus on web design and development projects. Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across different departments. Strong understanding of web design, development, and UX processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience leading teams or participating in sales calls and business development discussions. Detail-oriented, with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution. Experience working with international clients and teams. Hands-on approach with a willingness to contribute beyond traditional management duties. What We Offer Competitive Compensation Package: Salary: $2,500–$4,500 per month, depending on experience.
