Job Opportunity We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities - Support and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and related software. - Maintain standards around the server platform, monitoring services, and server management infrastructure. - Implement and support the server technology roadmap. This role involves providing quality solutions, automation of processes, and ongoing operational support utilizing leading industry practices, procedures, and ITIL processes. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology or a related discipline. - At least 3 years of experience managing server platform infrastructure. - Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSD, MTA are assets. - Other industry certifications in related infrastructure are desirable. - ITIL Foundations Certification is desirable. - Good knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure (e.g., DHCP, DNS, AD, Print Services). - Experience with multiple infrastructure platforms (Windows, Networking, Linux/Unix, Storage, Data Backup). - Knowledge of operating system and application virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, HyperV, Citrix). - Experience maintaining large-scale (200+ devices) server environments is a significant asset. - Good knowledge of MS Active Directory and Windows services. - Knowledge of operating system build automation and management technologies. - Scripting and command line skills, e.g., PowerShell. - Knowledge of server and storage hardware and cabling is an asset. - Basic knowledge of clustering is welcome. - Effective communication skills with customers, employees, and management. - Self-starter with strong collaboration and communication skills. - Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
