Job Overview: As a software engineer associate, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence solutions within a data-driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in data modeling, DAX, and SQL, along with experience working in enterprise environments that leverage Active Directory and JIRA. You will collaborate with a cross-functional Agile team to deliver scalable, insightful analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) with a focus on performance tuning and scalability. - Develop robust and secure BI solutions using Power BI, SSRS, and SQL. - Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. - Provide production and user acceptance testing application support for assigned applications. - Participate in the implementation of new systems or enhancements by running required conversion programs and performing shakedown testing. - Stay current on rapidly changing technological trends and maintain a broad understanding of the organization's business and technology strategies. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. - 2–3 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft BI Stack, including SQL Server, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI. - Proven experience in designing, developing, and optimizing data models using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). - Strong proficiency in DAX, Row-Level Security (RLS), Power Query (M), and SQL. - Familiarity with Power BI Service, including workspaces, dataflows, and semantic models. - English language proficiency to support global stakeholders. Nice to Have: - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Experience using JIRA for task and project management. - Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
