As we expand our R&D efforts, we are seeking a Grants and non-dilutive Funding Manager to oversee and lead all grant application activities in collaboration with our third-party partners. This role is a leadership position, requiring critical thinking, science, and project coordination skills. Job Description: The Grants and Funding Manager will be responsible for the planning, preparation, submission, and monitoring of all grant and non-dilutive funding applications on behalf of IGC Pharma. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams—including research, clinical, and regulatory affairs—as well as a designated third-party company that provides specialized support in generating grant leads, grant writing, and funding strategies. This position will report to the Managing Director and will serve as the primary liaison for grants and agencies including ALZ, ADDF, and others. Key Responsibilities: -Identify grant opportunities relevant to IGC Pharma's therapeutic areas and pipeline. -Lead the preparation and submission of grant applications, ensuring alignment with agency guidelines and strategic company objectives. -Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal resource coordination for multiple simultaneous submissions. -Act as the point of contact for all grant-related communications with third-party consultants, funding agencies, and collaborators. -Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to compile scientific, financial, and operational components of proposals. -Review and edit grant narratives, budgets, biosketches, and supplementary documents for clarity, accuracy, and compliance. -Track and maintain records of all submitted, pending, and awarded grants, including reporting requirements and deadlines. -Coordinate post-award compliance and reporting in partnership with Finance and Regulatory Affairs. -Participate in the development of internal SOPs and best practices for grants management. -Support the strategic planning of funding priorities across therapeutic programs. -Work closely with all departments within the Science team to align grant efforts with company-wide scientific goals. Qualifications: -MD or Master’s, or Phd in Life Sciences, Public Health, or STEM. -2–5 years of experience in writing research papers and/or submissions in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic sector. -Excellent written communication in English and Spanish and project management skills. -Experience working with or managing third-party vendors or consultants involved in funding applications. -Familiarity with federal and private funding processes, peer-review mechanisms, and post-award compliance. -Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. -Proficiency in AI, Microsoft Word, Excel, and grants submission portals.
