Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on small to mid-size equipment. As a diesel mechanic, you will be responsible for correcting equipment deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems. This is a full-time position with benefits, including health and dental insurance, 401(k), paid vacation and holidays, and a professional work environment. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Repair and Maintenance: The successful candidate will correct equipment deficiencies by performing routine maintenance tasks and repair services. 2. Diagnosis and Repair: The diesel mechanic will diagnose, quote, document, and perform repairs on any type of equipment. Key Skills and Qualifications: - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. - Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using computer systems to access technical information and documentation. - Customer Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. - Technical Skills: Thorough understanding of technical concepts, attention to detail, dependability, and documentation skills. Work Environment: The successful candidate will work an 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for supplemental pay and a signing bonus. Experience as a diesel mechanic is preferred, and a driver's license is also desirable.
