Job Description This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Orange County, CA Time Client and Job Overview: This fast-growing Gastroenterology practice is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team. You'll work closely with physicians and staff to ensure efficient office operations and a smooth patient experience. As a Bilingual Medical Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for obtaining insurance authorizations for procedures and surgeries, as well as scheduling patients once approval is secured. This involves coordinating details between our office, patients, and outside facilities. Strong communication and organizational abilities are essential to succeed in this fast-paced role. Responsibilities Obtain insurance authorizations for Gastroenterology procedures and surgeries Schedule patients for procedures and surgeries once authorization is obtained Coordinate with hospitals and surgical centers for procedure scheduling Focus on insurance authorizations and patient scheduling, no other medical assistant responsibilities Assist in basic admin tasks Requirements Must have experience with ECW At least 2+ years experience with medical insurance authorizations Proficiency in English and Spanish communication, both written and verbal Capable of handling heavy call volumes Can organize and manage emails Skilled in multi-tasking; must be smart and efficient in prioritizing workload Strong attention to detail and organization skills Experience working in a fast-paced medical office environment Must be a leader, dedicated and responsible Willing to work extra hours Independent Contractor Perks HMO Coverage for eligible locations Permanent work-from-home Immediate hiring ZR_25296_JOB

Requirements • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • With at least a year of prior experience working as an executive assistant or in an equivalent role • Proficient in MS office suite, including Excel and Outlook • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment • Previous experience or interest in the Healthcare servicing industry • Experience at least basic bookkeeping • Experience in assisting payroll and recruitment processes Note: This job post is solely open to Philippine residents.
