Cundinamarca, 110221 **Your responsibilities and tasks**: - Know manufacturing processes in the “Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages” industry - Generate detail engineering of projects: - Process dimensioning - Production time schedules - Block diagrams - P&IDs; - Cleaning In Place distributions - Layout (Matching process requirements: Drains, pipe mass, operation, and safety requirements ) - Calculation of product losses - Dimensioning, equipment list generation and ordering of thermal and mechanical equipment (pumps, pipes, steam, valves, heat exchangers ) for the “Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages” industry - Coordinate with different areas (sales, procurement, external GEA offices and technological centers of competence, logistics, electrical and automation engineering, process engineering, project management) for the manufacturing and installation of “Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages” equipment in the region - Prepare and analyze schedule plans for effective implementation of each assigned project - Review existing process engineering and make necessary changes to support project execution when necessary - Lead technical design reviews for projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams - Use of 2D design tools (AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant) - Conduct technical discussions and order clarification meetings with customer and/or end suppliers, to ensure that the engineering meets customer and process requirements - Provide technical problem support and claim resolution, including root cause analysis - Act as a facilitator between counterparts or other competencies - General engineering and consulting work - Installation supervision of plants and/or equipment in the “Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages” industry, if needed - Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure best technology and learning is implemented into our engineering work and process design to the benefit of our customers - Drive improvement of technical solutions and secure proper technology and design, to comply with the guidelines of hygiene and sanitation regulatory bodies (i.e., EHEDG, 3A) - (Valuable) Use of 3D design tools (AutoCAD Plant) **Your profile and qualifications**: Educational Background - Degree in engineering: Chemical and Food (preferred), Industrial and Mechanical (Depending on applicable experience) - (Valuable) Master’s Degree and/or specific trainings in related technical technologies / processes Professional Knowledge and Experiences - 5+ Years of experience working in medium sized projects for the “Beer and Non-Alcoholic Beverages” industry - (Valuable) Knowledge of main engineering calculation and design tools Other Skills & Competencies - Ability to learn - Adaptability - Attention to detail - Analysis and problem solving - Decision making - Initiative - Planning & Organization - English B2 or better - Creativity - Client focus
