This role ensures consistency in part numbers, descriptions, and specifications, regardless of language or location. Additionally, the Lead deploys best-in-class inventory management methodologies, aligning parts ordering with planned preventive maintenance rather than solely historical consumption and safety stock. The objective is to reduce on-hand inventory costs while increasing parts availability and eliminating stockouts. Collaborating closely with IT, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other functional areas, the Lead drives ERP (EAM) system enhancements and adoption, ensuring critical data accuracy and availability for effective asset management and maintenance planning. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels of critical spare parts Lead cycle counting and annual physical inventories Ensure all transactions are correctly logged in the system Identify obsolete or slow-moving inventory Work closely with maintenance planners and buyers to forecast needs Educational Background Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Business Administration.
