Compensation: USD 2K - 3K/month. Location: Hybrid(Sizelabs, Carrera 80, Laureles - Estadio, Medellin, Antioquia,Colombia). Whatmakes you a strong candidate: - You are proficient in serialcommunication, Node.js, Docker, and data normalization. - Spanish -Native or fully fluent. - English - Conversational.Responsibilities and more: Hardware Integration (Edge): - Own andevolve Node.js-based on-premise proxies that interface with barcodereaders, scales, cameras, and local file systems. - Handle serialcommunication, Modbus/TCP, FTP, and edge-specific resiliencefeatures (retries, local caching, offline fallback). - Optimizeservices for constrained CPU/memory environments and deploy usingDocker. Cloud Integration (APIs & Services): - Build andmaintain connectors for third-party platforms like WMS systems. -Normalize data across formats and services, ensuring smoothinteraction with Sizelabs’ backend APIs. - Implement retry logic,observability, and diagnostics for cloud-to-cloud integrationpoints.
