In particular we are world leaders in the sourcing and production of sheep milk and goat milk formulations. The role: Our business involves dry blending powders and nutrients into infant formula and then putting it in a can. Sounds simple enough, right? But in fact, it is a complex process that requires you to: Work closely with other team members. You need to be able to “fit in” and get on with other people, enjoying the richness brought to the workplace via a very diverse team. Be able to communicate easily. You need to express yourself well and also be a good listener, especially when leaders/supervisors are explaining things. Be process-driven, with very good comprehension. There are SOPs for everything, and you will need to read, understand, and follow them to the letter of the law, without exception. Maintain high personal hygiene standards. You will be required to wear PPE, including a lab coat, boots, hairnet, gloves, and hearing protection. Find satisfaction in the discipline of regularly breaking the plant down into component pieces for sanitization, protecting the baby formula we make. And, like every other employer, we need you to: Be reliable and turn up for your shifts; Work hard and be conscientious; Always do your very best and take pride in everything you do. Currently, we are running the plant Monday – Friday. Shifts are 9.25 hours long. Full-time operators are rostered Monday - Friday on morning shifts starting between 4:00am - 5:00am and finishing between 1:15pm and 2:15pm. The following week, operators are rostered Monday - Friday on afternoon shifts starting between 12:45pm and 1:45pm and finishing between 10:00pm and 11:00pm. #J-18808-Ljbffr
