Responsibilities This fully bilingual (English/Spanish) professional will integrate into an existing team of 5 people. The role is primarily focused on the generation and authorization of Foreign Exchange trades and related payments, predominantly in Latin American jurisdictions ensuring that all local regulations and sanctions are respected. It requires excellent communication & collaboration skills, problem solving skills and flexibility. You should be comfortable with rapid pace of change in order to address all aspects of investigations and effectively assess and address any scenarios, as and when they arise and proactively streamline and enhance workflows. Help manage the daily cashflow for US dollars, Euro, and Sterling pounds. Help generate all daily reports to ensure figures are calculated accurately to post on our internal treasury dashboard. Help manage the daily settlement of FX currency payments in the Latin American (LATAM) and Caribbean region. Utilize discretion and integrity to determine if currency requirements are met; and if achieved, to authorize / release payments over secure payment networks. Help oversee the USD settlement to our LATAM and Caribbean banks, that require dollar funding, from our company to purchase local currency for settlement on a same day or spot basis. Help manage the daily cashflow for LATAM and Caribbean currencies, ensuring trade positions are aligned with our local bank account nostros. Management of the global cash positions for EMEA based accounts (EG Euro, Sterling etc.). Help ensure that all FX Confirmations are double checked and sent to the client on time. Help establish and maintain lines of communication with the business and with correspondent banking network. Initiate and conclude pre-settlement investigations during daily activity. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 1-5 years of experience within banking, Foreign Exchange, payments operations, or related financial services industry. Bilingual - Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English and Spanish. Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) especially in Excel where ability to create macros and v-lookups is essential for the generation of reports. Knowledge of global payment sanctions and regulatory requirements particularly in LATAM emerging markets a big plus but not mandatory.
