We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer to oversee and develop robust cloud infrastructure solutions while driving innovations using Go Language and AWS. This role involves designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructures, enhancing developer experience, and being a key player in ensuring our cloud platforms meet business and customer needs. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Cloud Team on services such as HashiCorp Vault, authentication and authorization, cloud platform provisioning, and certificate monitoring Develop and maintain high-quality, reliable code for automation and internal customer-facing APIs Participate in an on-call support rotation, assisting customers with services managed by Cloud Engineering Create and maintain High-Level Designs and developer-focused documentation Solve complex issues across all layers of the technology stack Contribute to release schedules, workload estimation, and priority setting Drive the design of secure, high-performing, and resilient services and cloud infrastructure capabilities Requirements Over 5 years of in-depth experience in Golang, with the capability to successfully complete test assignments At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience Knowledge of secrets management tools like Vault, along with authentication and authorization concepts Familiarity with certificate management and basic understanding of cryptography and encryption principles Background in working with authentication/authorization protocols like OAuth 2.0, SAML, or LDAP Competency in using Terraform, Git, and other infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools Expertise in managing and provisioning AWS environments, including IAM roles and account management Qualifications in Kubernetes platforms, especially EKS Understanding of networking concepts, particularly AWS networking Strong communication skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level) We offer/Benefits - International projects with top brands - Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers - Healthcare benefits - Employee financial programs - Paid time off and sick leave - Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses - Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ courses - Global career opportunities - Volunteer and community involvement opportunities - EPAM Employee Groups - Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn
