We are seeking an experienced IT Business Intelligence Support Engineer to join our global medical products and technologies company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our BI tools and systems, providing support to users, and contributing to the improvement of our BI processes. You will work closely with other BI and IT staff, and business partners to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance our BI environment. Main Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive technical support by responding to and resolving tickets from business stakeholders across finance, manufacturing, supply chain, recruitment, and sales & marketing departments, as well as internal team requests - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while meeting established SLAs and maintaining high service standards - Collaborate on BI projects and contribute to the development of new solutions and enhancements - Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of BI tools and platforms - Develop and maintain documentation for BI system configurations, processes, and standard operating procedures - Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues proactively - Assist in the integration of BI tools with other enterprise systems and databases - Train users on the effective use of BI tools and promote best practices within the organisation - Proactively identify solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure optimal BI system performance - Collaborate with BI analysts and IT team members to implement enhancements and new features in the BI system Key Requirements: - Proven experience in a BI Support role or similar position with understanding of BI tools and technologies - Strong proficiency in Power BI with experience in development and administration - Solid experience with Snowflake, Azure Databricks, - Familiarity with dbt (data build tool), Azure Logic Apps - Hands-on experience with ETL processes - Advanced SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) - Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues - Customer service orientation with commitment to meeting service level agreements and response times - Familiarity with data warehouse design principles - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment Benefits: The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, contributing to the improvement of our BI processes and ensuring the optimal performance of our BI tools and systems.
