Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist, Sr. to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning and executing the sourcing of goods and services to support our manufacturing, field operations, or project management needs. Key Responsibilities: - Plans and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with policies and procedures. - Createssolicitations (RFQ) or organizes competitive bidding from various suppliers to obtain the best quality, delivery, and price for goods and services. - Implements agreements for local procurement of goods and services not covered under Category Management. - Assesses supplier performance and conducts reviews with suppliers. This role may also involve leading the development of less experienced Procurement Specialists. Job tasks impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operations. Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience. Basic procurement certification is preferred. Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering. - At least 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field. - Proven track record of successfully managing complex procurement projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
