We are looking for an experienced cook with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Mexican food to help prepare meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards. The cook’s responsibilities include following instructions relating to the timely preparation of food orders and organizing workstations. You should also be able to ensure that the kitchen, refrigerators, and storerooms are kept clean and tidy. This position will be part-time to start with the possibility to grow to full-time; must be available to work Tuesday to Sunday. The current shift we are seeking is from 4:30 PM to close. Requirements: Bilingual (Spanish/English or Spanish Speaking) to be able to communicate with the Chef/Founder. Manager Certification/Food Handler required. Experience making Mexican food from scratch. Proven experience working in a commercial kitchen (minimum 5 years is preferred). Culinary skills required. Honest, responsible, dependable, reliable, and punctual. A high school diploma or GED is preferred. The ability to follow directions. The ability to work in a team.
