Job Description Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing) to influence decisions and drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long-term) by analyzing trends and ensuring alignment with business and corporate objectives. Communicates and enforces adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and organizational financial goals, ensuring strong business controls. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, often contributing to new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads or provides expertise to project teams and cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert guiding process improvements and policy development. Represents the organization externally and exercises significant independent judgment. May mentor lower-level employees. Responsibilities Provides complex financial analysis to support business functions, exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine optimal methods for achieving objectives. Consults with business leaders to guide strategic decision-making. Forecasts financial results across a broad scope. Leads business initiatives and manages analysts across multiple finance sub-functions. Identifies process improvement and policy development opportunities and participates in their design. Represents the business during cross-regional and cross-functional planning. Mentors and guides analysts. Education and Experience Required First-level university degree in business or economics; advanced degree or CPA preferred. Typically 5+ years of experience as a financial analyst with tax compliance expertise. Deep knowledge of Colombia's Accounting GAAPs and tax regulations. CPA certification required. Proficient in English communication skills. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.). Experience with SAP S4 and Power BI is advantageous. Knowledge and Skills Experience working with external auditors and accounting firms. Strong analytical, communication, and influencing skills. Excellent teamwork and business acumen.
