Position Purpose: Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Expertise The Procurement Manager leads the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services, overseeing contracts throughout their lifecycle. They develop and implement procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: - Identify top suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability. - Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms. - Stay up-to-date with market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Supplier Relationship Management: - Resolve disputes and negotiate settlements with suppliers. - Contract Management: - Develop and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring accurate representations of agreements. - Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks. - Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations. - Compliance and Risk Management: - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations. - Identify and mitigate procurement and contract risks. - Maintain accurate records and documentation. - Assess potential contract risks and ensure safeguards. - Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare and present procurement reports and analysis. - Track key performance indicators (KPIs). - Provide recommendations for process improvements. - Utilize ERP or procurement software to track purchases and generate reports.
