Job Title: Performance SEO Expert Position: Performance SEO Expert Location: Remote Working hours: 40 hrs per week, 8 am - 5 pm PST Role Overview: As a technical SEO specialist, you'll focus on optimizing our website for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive sustainable growth. This role requires in-depth knowledge of search engine ranking factors, crawling processes, and rendering mechanisms. You'll play a critical part in increasing page speed, driving crawl efficiency, and influencing site architecture. Key Responsibilities: - Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement scalable solutions - Optimize site architecture, internal linking, and crawl paths for discoverability - Collaborate with developers to improve Core Web Vitals and page performance - Ensure proper indexing and crawling using tools like Google Search Console and Screaming Frog - Monitor and improve structured data markup and schema implementation - Conduct log file analysis to diagnose bot behavior and crawl budget issues - Research and implement new SEO automation scripts or tools for efficiency - Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates and SEO best practices - Provide data-driven SEO insights using GA4, Looker Studio, and other analytics tools - Contribute to content strategy from a technical perspective (canonicalization, duplication, hreflang, etc.) Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably in a SaaS, eCommerce, or content-heavy environment - Deep understanding of SEO ranking factors, search engine crawling, and rendering processes - Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz - Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager Experience collaborating with developers via GitHub, Jira, or similar tools - Strong understanding of mobile-first indexing, site migrations, and international SEO - Clear communicator with the ability to translate complex tech issues into business-friendly language Benefits: - Competitive salary with annual performance reviews - Fun, inclusive culture with virtual team events and retreats - Opportunity to grow We're looking for a technically minded SEO who's ready to work on high-impact projects in a fully remote, data-driven, environment.
