You will be responsible for coordinating QA resources forIT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in andimplementing the test strategy, reviewing requirements as testable,and developing test cases supporting the approved test strategy. This position will contribute to project efforts for high-qualitydefect-free deployment according to schedule. This positioninvolves working very close to an American client. It is extremelyimportant to be comfortable with the English language, as theentire selection process and day-to-day activities will be 100% inEnglish. You must have: 1. Solid experience of QA testingexperience in a fast-paced environment 2. Demonstrated experiencewith defect tracking, test case, and requirements managementsoftware, preferably JIRA/Microsoft ADO 3. Demonstrated ability toapply a wide range of software test engineering concepts: testingprinciples and concepts, tracking defects and making corrections,and assessing testing status; tester's role in software developmentand acquisition, risk analysis, and acceptance testing; testmanagement, planning processes, design, performance. 4. Translatingbusiness requirements into functional and technical test cases forthorough coverage of new feature(s) 5. Creating and executing testscenarios/detailed test cases that clearly articulate testobjectives, steps, and expected results. Ensures all applicationfunctionality, interfaces with upstream/downstream systems, anderror-handling processes perform as expected. 6. Ensuring that thedefect tracking system is appropriately updated daily and runningreports to provide insight into trends and status of teamactivities 7. Assisting development and database teams introubleshooting complex technical or end-user scenarios 8. Generating suitable test data that validate the criticalrequirements and business rules of the application under test toexpose regressive defects 9. Guiding team members. Closecollaboration with testers and development teams to ensure testcases/plans are being implemented 10. Ability to drive testingefforts of multiple projects simultaneously You stand out if youhave: 1. 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience 2. 5+years of SQL experience 3. 5+ years of data validation experience4. 5+ years of experience with ADO/JIRA and similar defect-trackingsystems 5.
