We Are Hiring: Senior UNIX Administrator We are looking for a Senior UNIX Administrator with expertise in RedHat Linux administration, automation, cloud technologies, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and experience in managing enterprise environments. - Work Mode: Remote Role Responsibilities: - Manage, install, and support RedHat-based Linux systems (RHEL 8.x). - Troubleshoot system performance and infrastructure issues. - Handle trouble tickets, user requests, and proactive maintenance. - Support weekend BCP/DR (Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery) tests. - Assist application teams with post-configuration of newly deployed servers. - Follow ITIL and Change Management policies. - Coordinate with infrastructure teams and Business IT managers to deliver projects on time. - Implement engineered solutions to enhance system efficiency and stability. - Document operational processes and maintain runbooks. - Participate in weekend on-call production support on a rotating basis. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong knowledge of RedHat Linux (RHEL 8.x) and related tools. - Experience with Veritas Cluster, Veritas Volume Manager, or RedHat Clustering. - Virtualization & Cloud: - Experience with VMware administration & Site Recovery Manager (SRM). - Familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies is preferred. - Automation & Configuration Management: - Experience with RedHat Satellite, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Networking & Security: - Strong understanding of DNS, NTP, LDAP, Kerberos. - Hands-on experience with TCP/IP, NFS, networks, and firewalls. - Scripting: - Python and Bash scripting experience is preferred. - Familiarity with Cisco UCS infrastructure is preferred. - Experience with enterprise monitoring systems is a plus. - Soft Skills & Industry Experience: - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Project management and organizational skills. - Previous experience supporting banking infrastructure is preferred. - Good understanding of information security policies.
