Position Overview: Were hiring a Junior Construction Estimator to support a growing Division 10 estimating team. This remote position is ideal for someone organized, technically capable, and eager to grow in a commercial construction environment. Youll work closely with a Lead Estimator and contribute to a steady flow of bid preparation. Key Responsibilities: Set up estimates in Procore Estimating (or similar tools) based on bid packages Perform takeoffs for Division 10 scopes (e.g., toilet partitions, lockers, wall protection) Select materials based on project specs or propose alternatives as needed Send RFQs to suppliers, follow up, and track responses using cloud-based file systems Prepare 15-20 accurate estimates per week to start, with the expectation to increase volume as you grow more familiar with the role and product scopes Maintain well-organized bid files and documentation Communicate with the team during MST business hours Contribute to improvements in estimating systems and workflows Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity takeoff Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills Ability to read construction drawings and specs Experience with digital takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift) Fluent written and spoken English Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in a remote setup Nice-to-Haves: Experience with Division 10 scopes or adjacent areas (e.g., finish carpentry, doors/hardware) Familiarity with U.S. commercial construction standards Hands-on experience with Procore or similar platforms Experience communicating with suppliers and managing RFQs Interest in process optimization and documentation best practices Resume Submission Guidelines: To help us review your application efficiently, please submit your resume in text-based PDF format only.
