Your role atBaxter - This is where you will make an impact on patients globallyby leading manufacturing of products that save and sustain livesevery day. - You will act as a "business owner" of our Cartago, CRplant (1800+ people) to drive manufacturing standardization andprocess improvements. - You will be committed to deliver productsthat meet safety, quality, cost and timely delivery goals. What You'llBe Doing - Responsible for meeting or exceeding plant financialgoals and key operating performance targets on a monthly,quarterly, and annual basis. - Drive continuous improvement of siteoperations through a formal program, resources, metrics, andaccountability. - Report on operational performance monthly andtake actions to address misses. Establish communication operationmechanism to keep senior leadership informed of both leading andlagging performance and act to address. - Build a culture withinthe plant to maintain compliance with Environment, Health &Safety; requirements, and a zero-harm workplace. - Interactregularly with senior management on matters concerning functionalareas and/or customers. Frequently interact with other plantmanagers and technology groups within the Corporation and contractvendors outside the Corporation. - Develop and own three-year sitecapital plan and drive execution to support ongoing business aswell as expansion opportunities. - Liaise with Global Procurementfor optimization of raw material suppliers, supplier score cardmeasures and action plans, and cost reduction goals. Liaise withR&D; to support new product development plans and ensureadequate support of NPD program to achieve target launch dates. What You'll Bring - Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering,Supply Chain or related field required. - 10+ years' of experiencein manufacturing function(s). - 4+ years’ of experience in plantmanufacturing leadership of a facility. - Ability to make accuratetrade-offs to balance operational execution across production,quality, safety, customer delivery and financial metrics. -Interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface wellwith other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in ateam environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
