LOOKING FOR STELLAR TOP CANDIDATES Position: Accountant (Quickbooks Online) Working Hours : Full-Time 8:00 am - 4:30 pm PDT - some flexibility may be allowed Salary: 2500 - 3000 USD (depending on exp and client’s final offer) Search: Latin America About The Role We are looking for a mid-level accountant with construction industry experience to handle all financial and recordkeeping functions of the business. This role will be instrumental in ensuring accurate and timely billing, managing payables, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial oversight using QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup. Role Responsibilities Billing & Invoicing Prepare and submit progress billings in accordance with general contractor requirements (typically by the 20th of the month). Create and manage service work and residential invoices. Ensure accuracy and compliance across various general contractor billing platforms. Accounts Payable Record and pay vendor invoices in a timely manner. Maintain vendor records and communication. Reconciliation Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations. Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy in QuickBooks. QuickBooks Management Maintain and manage the company's QuickBooks file (Online version). Ensure proper categorization and coding of all financial transactions. Reporting & Forecasting (Optional) Generate monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.). Support management with cash flow forecasting and budgeting (preferred but not required initially). Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience. Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is required. Solid understanding of progress billing, construction invoicing systems, and general accounting principles. Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
