Job Description: Lead Accounting Associate This position processes Asset Disposal Authorizations, Transfers and Computer Disposal Authorizations, conducts monthly maintenance on Fixed Asset database, assists in vendor contract renewal reconciliations and provides support to IT Asset Management processes. Strong communication, analytical, problem solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Responsibilities: - Supporting the creation of the Business Plan. - Reviewing corporate team analyses regarding account management, balances, and financial statements. - Organizing the accounting calendar and tracking due dates. - Responding to GAC requests. - Preparing and updating departmental procedure manuals. - Handling team requests, training, and support needs. - Auditing permissions in the accounting system. - Reviewing monthly accounting entries (corporate closing). - Reviewing sales invoices. - Distributing workloads based on priorities. - Supporting internal and external audits. - Planning, executing, and reviewing exogenous information for DIAN. - Monitoring financial reports for SuperSociedades. - Reviewing tax reports. - Reviewing payments sent by Treasury. - Analyzing and approving the creation of new accounts in the system. - Performing annual closing (Month 13). - Following up on account status requests to SENA and monetization-related payments. - Coordinating and distributing tasks within the team. - Supporting requests from government and external agencies (DIAN, MINT, UGPP). - Verifying and renewing DIAN billing resolution, electronic documents, and acknowledgment of receipt. Qualifications: - English 80% - Professional in Public Accounting – Related Experience Grade: 10 Location: Medellin in site.
