Job Description Build upon prior work experiences to propose and implement business solutions for complex problems with some independent judgment and autonomy. Analyze business results (vs. forecast, budget, and prior year), understand and explain changes in business drivers, drive forecast accuracy, and recommend improvements. Develop and utilize financial analysis tools to proactively evaluate financial performance and business risk (e.g., financial models, business cases, run rate, advanced data analytics). Prepare reporting packages for monthly operating reviews and/or Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), selecting the best presentation method for the audience. Support the development of budgets and long-term plans. Analyze trends to establish aggressive yet achievable targets. Form relationships with functional stakeholders and business partners. Display a deep understanding of how the position/operating staff impacts the Income Statement and Cash Flow. Champion continuous improvement and innovation (e.g., streamline processes, improve data analytics). Effectively communicate financial performance and analysis results to Finance Leadership and key business partners. Proactively seek opportunities for growth (e.g., develop new skills, attend training, network, seek feedback). Assist with ad hoc projects as needed. Additional Description JR-202509911 VSM Finance Analyst: Works directly with the commercial area, manages pricing and incentives, handles closing, forecast, budget, and long-term financial planning. Manages product profitability and analyzes business cases. Responsibilities include: - Responsible for closing and operational/analytical forecasting processes. - Coordinate with sales and control teams. - Manage product profitability of the portfolio. - Analyze business cases and new product opportunities. - Data entry across GM platforms. - Conduct financial analyses. Requisites: - University degree in Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. - Over 2 years of experience. - Advanced Excel skills. - Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency. - Availability to work in Bogotá, Colombia, in a hybrid regime (3 days in-office: Tuesday-Thursday). - Desirable software skills: Oracle, SAP, Power BI.
