Descripción - Lead the monthly close process, including general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and review of financial statements. - Oversee intercompany operations across the Americas, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and timely resolution of out-of-balance issues. - Manage financial and external reporting activities, ensuring full compliance with accounting standards and SOX controls. - Supervise and develop a team of analysts by strategically assigning tasks and ensuring proper coverage of all RTR functions. - Define strategic goals and departmental priorities aligned with broader business objectives. - Coordinate the creation, maintenance, and delivery of key documentation such as SOPs, desktop procedures, and training materials. - Track and analyze team and individual performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions. - Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements. - Act as a key liaison between Finance, Audit, and other global functions to ensure the integrity of intercompany transactions. - Ensure end-to-end compliance across all RTR and intercompany activities within the regional Center of Excellence. Perfil buscado (h/m) The ideal candidate is bilingual (B2+-C1 English) brings over 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong focus on intercompany and RTR processes. Experience in a regional or global scope within Shared Services environments is highly valued, as is prior background in a Big Four accounting firm. A solid understanding of established general accounting policies, intercompany frameworks, and compliance with internal controls and SOX regulations is essential. The role requires critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to complex reconciliations and ad-hoc analysis requests. Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP (S/4HANA), Oracle, JD Edwards, and tools like Black Line, Power BI, or other journal entry/reporting platforms is required. Strong communication skills in English are essential, and additional language proficiency is considered a plus. This role requires an individual who demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, with proven experience in coaching, counseling, motivating, and training team members while fostering a culture of recognition and continuous improvement. They must be effective in managing performance, addressing issues directly, and providing ongoing, constructive feedback.
