Dow has an opportunity for a Senior Digital Sales Specialist, based in Bogotá, Colombia. This role is responsible for growing and nurturing existing customer relationships by selling new and existing products, as well as generating new customers, through a fully digitalized customer experience. The role involves managing processes such as lead actioning, onboarding new customers, educating and positioning customers to partner with Dow via digital channels, and leveraging industry and product knowledge to drive sales. Typically, this position handles a medium-sized customer portfolio, mainly consisting of foundational customers, with a regional scope that may be specific to a market segment or cross-market segments. Responsibilities and Tasks - Develop a customer pipeline by adding new foundational customers and developing existing customers to target growth or priority segments. - Build strong customer relationships through digital channels and virtual partnerships. - Act as a Dow.com ambassador, driving platform adoption and setting up accounts for newly onboarded customers. - Lead price and volume negotiations with customers. - Maintain and update all pricing in SmartPrice. - Communicate product availability and lead times; troubleshoot availability challenges. - Guide customers regarding options within the defined Service Offering Framework. - Gather high-level market intelligence and customer insights, sharing findings within Dow. - Lead & Opportunity Management - Generate, triage, route, develop leads, and close opportunities in line with L&OM; guidelines. - Maintain and update CRM and internal tools. - Digital Tools and Platforms - Obtain and maintain customer forecasts in OMP. - Monitor sales versus forecasts and plans through digital tools, taking appropriate actions. - Communicate changes in sales forecasts to Product Management and Supply Chain. - Support testing and adoption of new technology to optimize commercial tools. - Participate in sales, product, and marketing strategy calls to align on business and pricing guidelines. - Support annual review of channel purchasing strategies and segmentation. - Assist in the Order to Cash process to ensure correct invoicing and timely payment collection. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree; fluency in English (verbal and written). - At least 2 years of relevant commercial experience. - Experience working with B2B sales in the industry. Your Skills: - Negotiation and sales tactics. - Solid understanding of products and application rules. - Business and financial acumen (cost, freight, margin, etc.). - Proactive, self-driven hunter with an owner’s mindset and excellent cold calling skills. - Technologically savvy and data-driven, early adopter of new technology. - Proficiency in CRM, DSR, SmartPrice, Dow.com, and Microsoft Office.
