Position Overview We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Bookkeeper with deep expertise in QuickBooks Desktop & Online. Your role will be to bring order to financial chaos, clean up and optimize books, and support our client's mission to unlock higher valuations and ensure smooth transactions for SMB owners. Job Responsibilities: Full-Cycle Bookkeeping: Manage AP, AR, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Software Expertise: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop & Online, Xero, and Zoho to maintain accurate financial records. Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations: Ensure timely and accurate reconciliations of bank statements and financial accounts. Financial Reporting: Prepare profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports as needed. Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll entries, reconciliations, and payroll tax compliance. Tax & Compliance Support: Work with accountants to prepare tax filings, 1099s, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to streamline bookkeeping and accounting workflows. Client Interaction: Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and address bookkeeping-related inquiries. Qualifications & Requirements: Fluent in English (Highest proficiency, with little to no accent). Minimum 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience . Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop & Online Plus is Xero, and Zoho expertise . Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles . Experience handling multi-entity and multi-currency transactions is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot accounting software issues and provide technical support. Experience working with e-commerce, manufacturing, or service-based businesses (preferred). Self-starter: Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects . Bookkeeping or accounting certification (CPB, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, Xero Certified Advisor) is a plus. Experience in a client-facing role is highly preferred. Job Type: Full-Time (30-40 hours per week). Highly Collaborative: Work with a supportive, growth-oriented team. Autonomous Role: Take ownership of bookkeeping processes with minimal oversight.
