Expert Network Engineer DDI + Advanced English Softtek is seeking a highly skilled Expert Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Network Chapter team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing global DNS/DHCP/IP Address Management solutions for large scale global enterprises. This is a hybrid schedule role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 12 pm to 8 pm (Colombia time), but we offer a 24/7 service due to our collaboration with teams in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and designing global DNS/DCHP/IP address management solutions for large scale global enterprises. You should have advanced English skills and a strong background in Linux and Unix operating systems. We require a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in DDI/IPAM solutions in large enterprise environments. Knowledge of NTP and GPS antennas, scripting and automation, as well as experience with Cisco Umbrella DNS, Infoblox, TCPWave, Bluecat, Microsoft AD services, migration of services across platforms, IPAM solutions and good understanding of NAT, CDN solutions and interaction with hosted DDI services are also essential. Main Responsibilities - Create strategic roadmaps for DNS/DHCP/IPAM products and services - Drive the design and oversee the deployment of these services across several regions - Provide consulting and guidance to application architects, peer engineering, operations and systems teams - Partner with regional technology colleagues to ensure services meet local technical, business and financial requirements while adhering to the global strategy - Prepare and present executive level material on proposed solutions and benefits to the client - Create necessary high level and low-level design documentation for delivery and operational team hand-offs - Recommend and drive the adoption of management tools for performance, capacity and inventory management - Drive the automation of key services and provide use cases across features and functionality Requirements - Advanced English - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in DDI/IPAM solutions in large enterprise environments - Knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems - Knowledge of NTP and GPS antennas - Scripting and automation knowledge and demonstrated experience - Direct experience in the design and implementation of large-scale DDI/IPAM solutions
