FRONT END/ASST DEPT LEADER (Finance) Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise Front-end department functions, duties, and activities. Support day-to-day Front-end operations responsibilities. We're looking for associates who can handle stressful situations, communicate effectively, and have basic math skills. Retail or Customer Service experience is a plus. We prefer associates with a high school diploma or equivalent, management experience, and second language skills. To be successful in this role, you'll need to promote trust and respect among associates, create a welcoming environment, and gain knowledge of products sold within the department. You'll also be responsible for monitoring supply expenses, managing cash control and sales records, and scheduling Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage. This role requires collaboration with Front-end associates, promoting teamwork, and staying current with present, future, seasonal, and special ads. You'll also need to adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and identify unsafe conditions and notify store management. This role requires the ability to work cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments, manage conflict in a reasonable manner, and act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information. Salary: $25.3/hour
