Title and Summary Director, Financial Planning & Analysis, Services Expenses Overview: The Financial Planning & Analysis function manages all aspects of management reporting, including budgeting and forecasting, strategic and customer planning. This includes managing and executing corporate reporting and planning requirements. This position is responsible for a broad spectrum of strategic processes and initiatives while managing and executing corporate reporting and planning. Role - Director Expenses - Global Services Lead the financial close process through analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, and key business drivers. Provide business-driven commentary to management teams. Drive development of the annual plan/budget and forecast, ensuring accurate data upload into Hyperion. Manage, develop, and create standardized financial reporting packages, including business metrics/KPIs. Identify and communicate revenue risks and opportunities. Respond to ad-hoc requests. Support Mastercard's strategic plans by providing financial analytics and insights, developing tracking mechanisms. Apply strategic understanding of business dynamics and market forces to support business strategies. Implement financial process improvements, build financial tools, and explore automation opportunities. Guide and mentor the team. All About You Educational qualification: Chartered Accountant, CPA, or MBA in Finance. Experience in financial roles with advanced knowledge of financial planning and management. Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools and financial systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle). Good understanding of reporting, forecasting, and budgeting techniques. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple activities under tight deadlines. Strong strategic thinking, relationship management, and commercial acumen. Ambitious, driven, and motivated with maturity to challenge ideas.
