The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Demand Generation (DG) is growing. We are looking for experienced leader to join the DG leadership team, within the sales org, and coordinate our local Demand Generation team. AWS provides companies of all sizes with an infrastructure platform in the cloud. The DG team helps prospect for companies looking to make this transformation, using AWS. If you are passionate about cloud technologies, developing people and building sales strategies this role could be the right fit for your next career move. As a DG Manager, you will be leading a team of Demand Generation Reps (DGRs) focused on the early stages of the customer journey. This team will assist prospects with a specific set of existing or prospect accounts, helping them to accelerate their cloud journey. The team will invest efforts of understanding customer needs and collecting their feedback as well as identifying new opportunities in a diverse customer base from all over LATAM. This role therefore requires the individual to be a business leader that has background in managing campaigns, sales or business development teams. The responsibilities will also include mentoring and developing the DGRs, monitoring their performance and creating scaling mechanisms Preferred Qualifications: - Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment - Experience working with, and/or having knowledge of cloud computing and existing cloud technologies - Skilled in prospecting techniques - Advanced SQL and Excel skills - High analytical skills with experience with using data towards building strategic operating plans
