This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operational flows with global suppliers, particularly in China, and supports the execution of purchasing activities across systems and departments. Responsabilities • Create, issue, and maintain purchase orders in SAP, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation. • Coordinate with vendors (mainly in China) to confirm production timelines, shipping schedules, and packaging requirements. • Follow up on production status, delays, and any PO exceptions or risk alerts. • Track the full PO lifecycle including production, readiness, and shipment documentation. • Prepare and maintain product cost files and purchasing records for internal review. • Support supplier quote requests and product detail confirmations as needed. • Assist with customs and compliance documentation when required for shipments. Container Planning & Logistics Support • Support the planning and execution of container consolidation and booking in coordination with operations teams in China and the U.S. • Maintain up-to-date documentation related to container bookings, shipment status, and handoffs to the logistics team. • Alert the team to shipment delays or disruptions and propose timely solutions. Data Management & Forms Submission • Coordinate and submit item creation and business partner forms in collaboration with the Innovation, Design, and Finance teams. • Follow up on artwork delivery and approval flows (packaging, manuals, labeling) between internal teams and suppliers. • Maintain organized records in line with internal process documentation requirements. Cross-Functional Support • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain aligned timelines and clear handoffs between departments. • Provide operational support and visibility to the Operations Manager for day-to-day activities. • Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support purchasing coordination and vendor management. Requirements • 2–3 years of experience in purchasing, vendor coordination, or supply chain operations. • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP. • Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail. • Comfortable communicating with overseas suppliers and managing multiple priorities. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and task management tools (e.g., Asana). • Fluent in Spanish, with intermediate to advanced English. • Based in LATAM.
