Information Technology Associate Job Description We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Associate to join our team in Medell'n. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of hardware, software, and network systems, and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment. Main Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and configure hardware and software systems in line with company policies - Troubleshoot and maintain network components, including routing, VLANs, and protocols (OSI model knowledge required) - Perform regular maintenance and inspections of network and server systems - Manage IT infrastructure and handle internal help desk tickets - Execute system backups and database archiving processes to ensure data recoverability - Install and manage biometric systems and CCTV surveillance equipment - Regularly update and monitor antivirus and endpoint protection systems - Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for complex IT issues - Support the installation and configuration of software systems based on company needs - Provide basic IT training and support to office staff - Monitor and manage IT incidents and service interruptions - Assist in basic firewall and network management tasks Requirements: - Technical degree or certification in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field - Proven experience in hardware/software installation and network troubleshooting - Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewall basics - Experience handling biometric devices and CCTV systems is a plus - Strong problem-solving and documentation skills - Basic English communication skills (verbal and written) required – ability to read technical documentation and communicate with internal teams when needed - Proactive, organized, and a strong team player What We Offer: - Competitive salary based on experience and language skills - Opportunities for growth and development within an international company - Supportive team environment in a modern office located in El Poblado
