The role of a Service Sales Engineer is to develop and execute key account plans to expand our customer base and share in Colombia.Responsibilities include:Reaching and maintaining volume and profitability targets.Visiting existing Alfa Laval customers, advising on preventive or predictive maintenance of Alfa Laval equipment, and generating sales inquiries.Resolving customer problems or queries.Selling spare parts and services to existing and new customers across various industries.Managing key accounts and building long-term customer relationships at all levels, including senior management.Securing and maintaining Performance Agreements with key customers.Providing technical product support to customers.Conducting periodic account reviews with customers and the Regional Service Manager.This role requires understanding customer needs and identifying new business opportunities to expand our customer base and grow our share with existing customers, always aiming to support customers in optimizing their processes. Success is achieved by combining a profound understanding of applications, products & systems, and Alfa Laval technologies such as separation, heat transfer, and fluid handling.The customer groups include power plants, refineries, offshore/onshore oil & gas industries, among others with Alfa Laval equipment. Interactions may involve plant managers, superintendents, project engineers, technical managers, and purchasers.Key tasks, responsibilities & processes:Developing customer segmentation and sales plans for the region and business area.Developing customer loyalty plans.Analyzing competitive situations.Understanding and selling the value proposition of our products and services.Setting and negotiating prices according to policies and guidelines.Providing input for pricing strategies.Developing and maintaining sales and customer relationships.Monitoring competitors' solutions and products.Organizing and participating in customer seminars and education programs.Using tools like Installed Base, CRM, and IB Dashboard for prospect analysis.Coordinating marketing activities with the Marcom department.Selling new services and upgrade solutions directly to end users.Traveling within the territory to meet customers and prospects, ensuring proper introduction of new products.Preparing complex quotes for services agreements, upgrades, and services.Maintaining updated information in our CRM system.Profile: Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.Skills and Knowledge:Excellent relationship-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A passion for learning new things.Advanced level of English.Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
